SAW SWITCH PROJECT: An Emergency switch for a power tool. It has a simple ON-Off safety switch.

THE SWITCH IS LIKE AN EXTENSION CORD. I did not want to splice the switch into the saw cord.

The switch wiring is simple. The box is a BELL, TWO-GANG, Outdoor aluminum box from Home Depot and a heavy duty plastic cover plate. The safety switch is a Powertech locking safety switch from Amazon.com

NOTE: The plastic cover cannot be grounded, so it is important that the switch is double grounded. One ground wire goes from the switch to the box and the power cord "GROUND" is connected to the box.

If one decides to make this switch box "be sure and seek electrical help as needed!"
